The 7 c's of Business is only of the most essential post I have read in quite some time! This article will teach anyone who is willing to read it how to become educated in writing letters, blogpost, and anything else that might come to mind. I will definitely be using this article for future references when it comes to my future academics and i strongly advise that anyone who wants to do well in writing to use this as well!
Some people might have found this blog useful in the tips the linked in blogpost provides but I as the reader feel as though this post just didn't hit the right spot.... It came off as very bossy and it made it seem like the only way is their way. A negative position is never the way to come across to your readers because your readers are the ones who make your website survive. There are just so many other help sites out there throughout the internet world and because of this fact I don't believe I will ever need linked in in my life.
In todays business world the resume is one of the most important parts of finding and obtaining a job. Though it is only a piece of paper that single piece of paper can determine the way you live, and how you live it. The most important thing to remember which this blog clearly states is to be yourself. Don't let the paper engulf who you are as an individual! You want to stand out and show the company who you are and what you have to offer! In the end of the day all you can truely do is show them the truth... So relax, sit back, and wait for the job to come to you.

Both of these videos were very helpful to me and i believe that i could apply both to a real life circumstance. In the videos various ways of finding jobs are discussed as well as the way to land these jobs! Certain aspects of landing a job can be very tricky but the videos show that if you work hard and establish a good connection to the employer that it will be a lot easier than most imagine. The resume is perhaps the most important single aspect of getting hired. Making sure it is proper with zero mistakes and detailing every accomplishment you have achieved over the years is likely to make you stand out! Which in the end is all you can hope for... standing out and making yourself known. So good luck pay attention and go get yourself a good job!

The persuasive letter that i chose for this blog post is about a young woman writing to her principal about possibly getting new chairs to make the class more structurally equal. The student here chooses to take a more sympathetic approach to the situation of the new chairs believing that the principal will feel her frustration with the problem. It is formatted with the address to the principal, one long paragraph, and a closing thank you from her and the other students. The obvious audience in this letter is the principal because he is the one with all the power in this situation. The approach she takes is by coaxing the principal to believe that they would be better off if the new seats were given because class would have a more fluid flow. The voice she tries to take is very passionate because she really strongly believes in this idea. The message she tries to communicate is that it will be beneficial to both the boys and girls in her class and persuades him by promising behavior of the entire class. It is quite effective but i do believe that if i were to be the one writing this letter that i would have taken a slightly more serious approach. Other than that i think the young lady will be granted her new seats!!

Whenever I come across something that gives me a negative feeling there are a couple of different ways that i might possibly handle it. I believe emotions are like bruises... Put on enough of something and nobody will know they are even there. This is how you should approach a situation which results in you having emotions that wouldn't be appropriate to display to the immediate crowd.
For instance in your workplace or at school breaking down in anger or sadness probably wouldn't be the best thing to do solely because of the professional that is expected in these environments. My advice would be to take a deep breath and calm down until it would be better to show how you are really feeling. After all there is always a positive side to things just like after every storm there is always a rainbow.
The business letter I decided to use for this blog post was from the customer relations director to a disgruntled customer. In the letter, which i think is VERY professional, Naldoo the director apologizes to the customer for the inconvenience that was caused to the customer. He offers a full refund for everything that went wrong and includes all the business information that the customer might need in case he runs into any additional problems. Everything about this business letter was done correctly and I am sure that the customer will be satisfied and indeed continue his business with this company!
In my book companies that use overly formal corporate-speak are definitely MISSING the point of how to speak to their consumers! I know from personal experiences. just like my readers do, that when a website is to complicated and the product you want to purchase is hidden behind a bunch of mumbo jumbo that its not even worth it. In my opinion, yes the professionalism shows that the company is well educated and can MAYBE be trusted but running your customers away by doing this is not the right way to approach this situation. I say make your website nice and direct because at the end of the day isn't a company website mainly for the purpose of making money?

My problem with this memo is ALL of it. The beginning has no hook to bring the readers in and the overabundance of technical terms is likely to confuse a lot of readers. Because this memo is not straight-forward I believe it is a complete unmitigated disaster. The employee’s themselves I feel will be confused with all of the different directions presented within the memo. In short a memo should be just that… A memo NICE, SWEET, SHORT, and TO THE POINT. If a few changes were made to this memo to create a precise plan of the new system it would be a much more understandable memo which I’m sure all employee’s and readers would greatly appreciate.

Even though each of these four blogs contain different approaches at how they wanted to get their individual point across, each blog successfully relayed a message to this reader.
I'll start with the Zappos blog which is definitely a blog directed to the readers as an informational speech to show why Tony H. loves doing what he does. He points out that many creators of successful million dollar companies usually stop "personally" working on their projects after that one big break. He states that the reason he continues is because he loves inspiring people, and shows that with a great work ethic comes great results which is what he personally lives for.
The LinkedIn blog is more of a diary kind of blog. Its just an average day at work for Ferris Jumah, but the reader comes to learn that this work day is about as average as Ferris Bueller's Day Off... not at all!
Both whole story blogs take a more direct approach to get their readers attention. The Recyclable blog lists many reasons as to how one can help our world by being cleaner, and still maintaining efficiency.
The Get Snack Happy blog also list a healthy lifestyle choice for its readers. Ways for today's youth to eat healthier and also gave a incentive to read their blog. 100 dollar gift card is always a good way to get more followers!! Four different blogs, Four successful messages... Well done
My name is Robert Clary, and I am a South Carolinian born and raised, 19 and currently attending my second year at Coastal Carolina. I come from a big family and all of my mom's family were born in Chile, South America. In high-school, I ran track and swam for one year, and played basketball almost four years. I was in band where i played drums and trumpet, I love hanging out with my friends on the beach surfing and playing guitar. Though this concept of a blog is a new thing to me, I have created it in hopes of building my communications skills for my future business endeavors, which is why i also enrolled in this course. I am a pretty open-minded dude so i'll be blogging about whatever comes to mind and what i expect to get out of this course is exactly what i put into. Hope you enjoy reading, Bob
